Bodegas Faustino wins the award for best exporting activity
Wednesday, March 6th 2019Bodegas Faustino has been awarded the prize for Best Exportation Activity at the XII Wine Business and Distribution Awards, which were held by the Spanish Ministry of Agriculture, Fishing and Food. Every year, the awards bring together more than a hundred guests, including government officials, wine producers and wine distributors, as well as noteworthy individuals from wine-related sectors.
The prize was awarded by The Secretary General for Agriculture and Food, Mr Fernando Miranda and was received by Lourdes Martínez Zabala, Owner and CEO of Grupo Faustino.
Since 1861 the company has been dedicated to cultivating vineyards and making its top quality wines, and today, Grupo Faustino has wines in 5 Designations of Origin. Since the 1960s, the Faustino brand has been selling its wine worldwide; in fact, more than 50% of its total production is today sold outside of Spain. It is present in more than 120 countries, with its main markets being the United Kingdom, China, Switzerland, Russia and the United States, among others.
